Description:
Playa del Carmen is home to a variety of marine life, from huge sharks to tiny macro critters. The healthy Playa del Carmen reefs also play host to a variety of tropical species. Vigilant divers may spot lobsters, groupers, eels, angelfish, stingrays, sergeant majors, as well as hundreds of colorful fish. From November to March, get up close and personal with majestic bull sharks as they arrive at Playa del Carmen's coasts for the breeding season.
Prerequisites:
Minimum 10 years old
Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent
If you have not been diving for a year or more, a refresher is essential prior to your dives
Schedule:
Morning dives: 7:30 - 12:00
Afternoon dives: 12:00 - 4:30
