Chacmool is a beautifully diverse site that features an array of light effects that will blow your mind. Entrancing halocline, sulfur clouds, fossils, cave formations, crystals, and the enchanting light beams will be an experience like no other.
The first cenote, Kukulkan, is renowned for the display of dazzling sun rays through the crystal-clear waters.
The second cenote, Little Brother, follows a winding cavern line that is perfect for those who seek adventure and a varied circuit. Explore the cavern through the chambers decorated with incredible stalactites and tree roots covering the ceiling.
Experience a bit of everything; a mesmerizing halocline, hydrogen sulfide cloud, and even above ground, many fossils are to be found. Chacmool is a great spot to sight the Motmot bird or maybe even a Mesoamerican turtle.
