Scuba dive into this “Little Angel” and create a memory for life. This excursion explores the eerie depths of this incredible sinkhole, featuring a mystical cloud of hydrogen sulfide with an island of fallen vegetation peeking out the top. Unlike other cenotes, Angelita does not have flow. Consequently, we can experience a surreal and enchanting green scenery of this alien underground world.
Discover the duality of Carwash - an enchanting pool of tranquility, encircled by stunning water lilies and teeming with life, that plunges into a shadowy and breathtaking cavern. Upon entering the water, you will immediately observe swirling schools of fish, turtles, and even the occasional small crocodile. Diving into the cavern zone, we enter what has been described as the “curtain to the underworld” where towering formations await. The speleothems are dark, stained by tannic acid. Remember to take a moment from inside the cavern to take in the stunning silhouetted view of the turquoise entrance.
Not a diver? Carwash cenote is a corner of tranquility nestled in the jungle for non-divers to relax and snorkel.
