Playa del Carmen is home to a variety of marine life from huge sharks to tiny macro critters. The healthy Playa del Carmen reefs also play host to a variety of tropical species. Vigilant divers may spot lobsters, groupers, eels, angelfish, stingrays, sergeant majors as well as hundreds of colorful fish. From November to March, get up close and personal with majestic bull sharks as they arrive in Playa del Carmen coasts for the breeding season. Prerequisites: - Minimum 10 years old - Open Water Diver Certification or equivalent - Fill in and sign our responsive sheet - If you have not been diving for a year or more, a refresh is essential prior your dives Schedule: - Meeting time 8:00am (for morning dives) and 12pm (for afternoon dives) - Return time 12:00pm (for morning dives) and 4:00 pm (for afternoon dives) - Departure from Coco Beach Included: - Experienced certified Instructor / Dive Master guide - 2 dives in 2 different reefs - Snack - Water - Weights - 12-liter aluminum tank - Complete gear (wetsuit, mask, BCD, fins & regulator) Not included: - Photographer - Nitrox tanks Highlights: - Second longest barrier reef in the world - Large diversity of dive sites including shipwrecks - Corals and tropical marine fauna - Warm and clear water What to bring: - Certification card - Swimsuit - Towel - Sunglasses
