Have you always wondered what it is like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. We offer this program either in a pool or from a pool and a dive boat. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Your Instructor will likely provide all the basic scuba gear you will use including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive gauges and a tank. Are you ready to try it out? Prerequisites: - Minimum 10 years old - Fill in and sign our responsive sheet - Adequate swimming skills Schedule: - Full day activity - Meeting time 8:00am - Return time 4:00pm - Departure from Playa city center Included: - Experienced certified Instructor - Detailed briefing & explanation - Pool training session - 2 dives in 2 different Playa del Carmen reefs - Snack between the dives - Water between the dives - Weights - 12-liter aluminum tank - Complete gear (wetsuit, mask, BCD, fins & regulator) Not included: - Photographer Highlights: - Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear - Find out what it is like to breathe underwater - Learn key skills that you will use during every scuba dive - Have fun swimming around and exploring - Hear about becoming a certified diver What to bring: - Swimsuit - Towel - Sunglasses
